The Path of Devotion from the Bhagavad Gita

Lord Krishna said, "Fix your mind only on Me, let your intellect reside only in Me, and you will dwell in Me without a doubt.

If you are unable to maintain the absorption of your consciousness in Me, then wish to reach Me by the practice of union, Conqueror of Wealth (Arjuna).

If you are incapable of practice, then do actions for Me. By performing actions for Me you will attain perfection.
If you are not able to do this, then take refuge in union with Me, control your own self, and renounce the fruits of all actions.

Indeed better than practice is wisdom, better than wisdom is meditation, and renunciation of the fruit of action excels even meditation, for from renunciation comes immediate peace."

Who is Dear to the Lord?

Consciousness (Sri Ram) said, "Listen my Friend, I will tell you my intrinsic nature which is known by the wise crow Bhushundi, Who radiates Peace, and the Daughter of the Mountain.
If any man, even a traitor to the world which moves and does not move, comes to Me to take refuge from fear with full consciousness, and renounces arrogance, delusion, and various forms of deceitful behavior, I make him a sadhu very quickly. Mother, father, brother, children, wife, body, wealth, home, friends, and family, if one renounces all attachments and binds himself to my feet with no other desire than Me, he sees all with equilibrium, his mind is always happy, and he knows neither grief nor fear. Such true beings reside in my heart, just like the thought of wealth resides in a greedy man."
