Finding Stillness at Shreemaa Swamiji Ashram Nashik: A Journey That Stays With You

Shree Maa & Swamiji Ashram Ghoti

The journey itself begins to shift something within you. As you leave behind the movement and noise of Nashik and head toward Ghoti, everything slows down. The roads open up, the air feels lighter, and the landscape begins to draw you inward. By the time you reach the ashram, you’re already quieter than when you started.

Set at the base of a mountain and surrounded by forests and still waters, the ashram carries a natural silence that isn’t empty—it’s full, grounded. Instead, there is a clear focus: sadhana.

The Journey of the Idols

One of the most meaningful aspects of the ashram is the story of the sacred idols that now reside there.

These murtis were brought from Jaipur with Shree Maa guidance, a place long known for its tradition of sacred craftsmanship. They were not simply made as objects but created with care, discipline, and devotion, following time-honored methods.

Their journey from Jaipur to Nashik was not treated as transportation but as a continuation of that sacred process. The idols were accompanied by awareness and respect, carried as living representations of the divine rather than as material forms. The Yatra itself became part of their consecration.

When you arrived at the ashram, meeting Shreemaa and Swamiji was not just a meeting but a deeply felt moment. Through dedicated spiritual practice and focused intention, the space was prepared to receive them.

Life at the Ashram

Life at Shreemaa Nashik is centered around sadhana.

There is a steady rhythm to the day, guided by meditation techniques and disciplined spiritual practice. The Shiva temple (Napeshwar Mahadeva) forms a focal point, not as a place of display,  but as a space for inward work. The yajna shala carries its own intensity, not as a ritual performance,  but as a method of transformation rooted in ancient knowledge.

Those who come are welcome to join in the sadhana that is already ongoing.

And that distinction matters.

Because it changes your role—from observer to participant.

Why It Stays With You

What makes this place stay with you is its clarity.

There is no contradiction, the focus remains on practice, discipline, and inner alignment.

You are invited by Shreemaa and Swamiji to learn about Cosmic pooja and recite the Chandi path, to step into a path that requires attention, sincerity, and involvement.

And in that honesty, something real begins to unfold.

Shreemaa Nashik Ashram is a place for seva and devotion, and it is not a place for passive seeking. It is a space where sadhana is lived, not explained.

If you feel drawn to that—if you are ready to move beyond observation and into practice—then this is a place that can meet you where you are.

Quietly. Directly. Without compromise.

As ShreeMaa Says – BE TRUE. Say what you mean and do what you say. If you are true, you will be without fear. If your conscience is clear, your heart will be silent. That is Peace. No matter what the result.

BE SIMPLE. Many words are a burden to the soul. The real message of your heart will be communicated by your actions. The words will only explain the actions. But they must agree, lest we become hypocrites who preach what we ourselves do not practice.

BE FREE. Leave your selfishness behind. The people whose opinions are valued will love us for what we are, not for what we have. The respect which can be bought is as useless as a tree which bears neither flowers nor fruits. When the leaves will fall and the trunk wither, none will come again.

TAKE REFUGE IN GOD. Neither your friends, relations, or others will take you to heaven. Only Wisdom will be our salvation.

CULTIVATE WISDOM. Learn from everyone, everywhere. Then use that knowledge which will bring you into harmony with the universe.
