During the deeply auspicious days of Navaratri and Gupt Navaratri, the sacred Siddhapeeth Maa Bagalamukhi Temple in Nalkheda, Madhya Pradesh, is once again immersed in powerful spiritual energy, devotion, and divine grace.

On these holy days, Shreemaa, in her boundless compassion, lovingly prepared Panchbhog and a five-course sacred meal for her devotees. Each offering was infused with devotion and maternal love, a gentle reminder of the nurturing presence Maa showers upon all who seek her refuge. These glimpses of seva reflect not only nourishment of the body but also the deep nourishment of the soul.
Deep Sadhana at the Samadhi of Saints
At this sacred temple, Swami Satyananda Saraswati is presently observing the opening days of Navaratri and Gupt Navaratri in profound sadhana. Seated in his aasan for eight to nine uninterrupted hours daily, Swamiji remains absorbed in mantra chanting, pranayama, and meditation.
Swamiji sadhana takes place at the samadhi of a great saint, a space sanctified by the offering of lakhs of mantras in earlier times. Seated before Maa Bagalamukhi, and in the divine presence of Hanuman and Radha-Krishna, Swamiji enters a state of deep stillness and alignment with the sanctity of the moment.
Amidst the surrounding sounds and movement of the temple, he remains serene and gently smiling—untouched by distraction. In this stillness, the sense of separation dissolves, and the experience of oneness unfolds: he is Shiva, and Shiva is him.
Devotion, Music, and World Welfare
During brief intervals, Swamiji offers melodious devotional songs, accompanied by the tanpura, filling the temple atmosphere with devotion and sweetness. A lifelong devotee of Shiva and Shakti, Swami Satyananda Saraswati has dedicated more than fifty years to tapasya, mantra-japa, and spiritual discipline, working continuously for the welfare of humanity and world peace.
An upcoming ashram near Nashik, India, his mission remains simple yet profound: to spread love, devotion to God, and unwavering faith—without discrimination—across the world.
Gupt Navaratri Panchami & Saraswati Puja
On the sacred fifth day of Gupt Navaratri (Panchami), the Yagyas commenced with devotion and grace. This day also marked Saraswati Puja, adding a beautiful vibration of wisdom, learning, and divine inspiration. Shreemaa sends her heartfelt blessings and love to all devotees on this auspicious occasion.
The Navaratri observances include mantra chanting, yantra worship, hymn recitation, yajnas, Kumari Puja, and annadaan (offering food to hundreds of Brahmins), bringing the spiritual practices to their sacred completion.
A Moment of Bliss
We share with you a serene glimpse of Swamiji immersed in complete bliss during the yajna, a living reminder of the transformative power of devotion, discipline, and divine grace.
Jai Maa Bagalamukhi 🌸
May her blessings guide, protect, and uplift all beings.
