Devi Mandir

In Praise of Divine Mother on Mother’s Day – 2015

The Devi Mandir was packed with people on Sunday, May 10th to honor our beautiful Mother Shree Maa on Mother’s Day.

Devotees watched with complete attention as Parvati and Kumari performed a devotional puja on behalf of the entire family.

It was a day to demonstrate our love for Her. It was a time to say thank you for the special attention She gives to each and every one of us. It was a time to honor Her as the Universal Mother through puja, and it was a time to pray for Her grace.

Shree Maa surely felt our gratitude. She was simply radiant and beamed blessings to Her children from the start of the puja to the end.

Directly after the puja, Shree Maa sang a special song that She had written, I Love You All. Though She giggled Her way through a few of the verses which were rather funny, the punchline of this song expresses Her innate desire for our spiritual elevation. Everyone was touched by Her sincerity and love.

Let’s take some time to cherish, reflect, and share the memorable moments. Enjoy our photo gallery of Shree Maa on Mother’s Day, put to a Ramakrishna Poem in praise of the Divine Mother:

Victory, Victory to the Great Supreme Divinity beyond manifestation.

You have come to us from so far.
You are the Supreme of the Supreme and again greater.

You are the truth of life. You are the manifestation of love and truth.

You are the root of all welfare. You serve us with so many kinds of nectar.

You contain such deep emotions.
Everywhere your radiance is cooling to those who perceive.

The great poets and the foremost poets speak of you as the cooling moon, as the rise of the sun, and the setting of the sun.

You are the stars. You are the reflection in the water. You are wearing a blue form. The six seasons.
