Paramatman and his relationship with various deities

Paramatman and his relationship with various deities such as Vishnu or Shiva, as they manifest in duality.

Paramatman

Who is Paramatman?

“Paramatman”, we need to understand what “Atman” means.

The word “Atman”, denotes the Individual Self.

The word “Paramatman” expresses Boundless Life, Boundless Substance in Boundless Space.

Thus, Paramatman is meant as the Atman of all atmans or the Supreme Self.

The Paramatman (Primordial Self) is imperceptible and resides beyond manifestation in its infinite, undefined, and ubiquitous ways.

When the Paramatman comes into manifestation, it assumes finite and divine forms, which becomes the defined, perceivable, individual expressions, limited by the boundaries of Maya – which limits, measures, and makes the infinite into finite!

Such as the expressions of creating is known as Brahma, Protector as Vishnu, and Transformer as Shiva.
