This podcast presents a live recording of the sacred mantras used to enkindle the sacrificial fire performed at Northwestern University by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. The system of puja used by Swamiji follows the Chandi Yajna Paddhoti (system of worship of the Divine Mother), and can be compared to his video class titled Shiva Puja and Advanced Yajna (the invitation of Lord Shiva). Advanced students should be able to distinguish how to change the gender from masculine to feminine in Sanskrit, as well as how and where to substitute mantras to Lord Shiva or to the Divine Mother Goddess as circumstances require.
