We are nearing Guru Purnima and Shree Maa has just blessed us with a new group sankalpa to thank our Gurus and to get their blessings!
Shree Maa lovingly chooses these powerful mantras in order to create a specific benefit in each of our lives.
The collective effort in chanting the Sankalpa at the same time as hundreds of other devotees also creates special benefits for the whole universe.
This Sankalpa includes both a Ramakrishna Pranam Mantra and the chanting of the Guru Gita. You may participate in either or both. Read below for more details:
Dates of the Guru Sankalpa
- Start Date: July 8th, 2013
- End Date: July 22nd, 2013 (Guru Purnima)
The Ramakrishna Pranam Mantra
Chant this mantra as many malas as you can (One mala = 108 repetitions of the mantra):
Our group sankalpa will be to complete 1008 malas during this time period. So, every mala counts!
Whether you want to chant one mala or a hundred malas, all are welcome to participate and get the blessings of the Guru.

The Guru Gita Sankalpa:
Chant the Guru Gita as many times as possible.
Our group sankalpa will be to complete the Guru Gita recitation 108 times.
