There are numerous benefits of chanting the Chandi Path, from experiencing divine peace and the alleviation of fears, to the attainment of perfection and liberation.
It is said, “Just like the Ashvamedha sacrifice is the ultimate of all sacrifices, just like Vishnu is chief among the Gods, in the same way, the seven hundred verses of the Chandi Path are the chief among all scriptures.”
The benefit of Chandi recitation escalates with sincerity, the intensity of devotion, and the number of repetitions. The Chandi Path Phal Shruti, from the Varahi Tantra, describes this in more detail:
