The Cosmic Puja or “Samashti Upasana” is the worship of all the forms of Divinity in existence; a meditation on all the Deities of the universe.
The Cosmic Puja is derived from the Chandi Path, and it reveals the worship of the Divine Mother and her multitudinous family. Samashti Upasana helps us to focus our awareness into the presence of the Divine, and obtain the greatest experience of peace.
These video classes explain the mantras, kriyas (actions) and bhava (divine attitude) of this system of worship and demonstrates this method of worshiping the Supreme Divinity.

Introduction
This video class introduces the Cosmic Puja, also known as the Samashti Upasana. The video discusses the origins of this esoteric form of worship as well as many of the subtle meanings of the various deities within the worship. This puja is derived from the Chandi Path and especially from the secrets of the Upasamhara Puja.

Beginning Worship
This video class begins the actual explanation of the practice of the Cosmic Puja, the recitation of the Sanskrit mantras used in worship and the various offerings that accompany them. In this Cosmic Puja we begin by bowing to all the Gods and Goddesses. What a privilege it is to have the chance to perform this worship, meditating on the forms of Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati, who free us from Too Much and Too Little, The Great Ego, and Self-Conceit and Self-Deprecation. The mantras are chanted in English as well as being translated and explained in English.

Beginning Worship continued
This video demonstrates more of the pratice of the Cosmic Puja. Practices shown in the class inlude Acamana (cleansing the mouth and hands with water), the mantras for purifying the seat (asana shuddhi), making the sankalpa to perform the worship, and the shanti mantras. The mantras are chanted in English as well as being translated and explained in English.

Punya Havachana and Swasti Vachana
This class shows the next section of the Cosmic Puja which includes Ganesha Puja, too become free from obstacles and the merits and blessings of the puja. Gayatri Vidhih, Atmaraksha, Rudropastana, and Kumari Puja
This video class describes the gayatri vidhih, the system of worship with the gayatri mantra which is a part of the Cosmic Puja. Practices shown include the nyasas for establishing the gayatri mantra in the body of the worshiper, atmaraksha (protection of the soul), rudropasthana (establishment of the reliever of sufferings), Kumari Puja (worship of the ever pure one) and chanting of the gayatri mantra with samput (om before and after). The video class contains both a demostration of the practices and their Sanskrit mantras as well as a translation of the mantras and explanation of the practices.

Kalasha Stapana and Prana Pratishtha
This class demonstrates samanya arghya (a container of purified water), the kalasha sthapana (establishment of the pot) and the prana pratishtha (establishment of life in the pot). Prana Pratishtha Shukta and Vishesha Arghya
This video includes the Prana Pratistha Sukta, hymn of the establishment of life which is recited after prana pratishtha of the pot. Other practices included are the establishment of the vishesha arghya (conch shell offering). Bhuta Shuddhi
This technique of Bhuta Shuddhi, which means the purification of the elements, is explained. It is a technique used to purify the elements located with in our own body in the various cakras or energy centers. This class includes the Sanskrit bija mantras for the chakras and explanation of the meaning and purpose of this practice.

Bhutapsarana, Aghamarshana and Agni Puja
This video class continues the demonstration and explanation of the Cosmic Puja. In this section we perform Bhutapsarana (dispersion of inimical energies), Aghamarshana (internal cleansing) which involves jal neti (cleansing of sinuses) and pranayama (control of the breath) and puja to the sacred fire. Ashta Shakti Puja and Nava Graha Puja
This video class explains the Ashta Shakti Puja (the worship of the eight forms of passion) and the Nava Graha Puja (the worship of the Nine Planets). The Ashta Shakti Puja removes our wordly passion and gives us passionate devotion to the Divine and the Nava Graha Puja puts us in harmony with the planetary forces of the universe. Yogini Puja and Astra Puja
This class demonstrates the Yogini Puja (worship of the Sixty-Four Yoginis) and the Astra Puja (worship of the Weapons of War). The Sixty-Four Yoginis are the Goddesses of union who help us to become one with the Divine Mother and the Astra Puja is the worship of the divine weapons with which the Goddesses destroy all the thoughts and difficulties. In this class the Anga Puja (worship of Divine Mother’s body) and the Pitha Nyasa (establishment of the place of internal worship) which involves establishing the Sri Chandi Yantra on one’s own body and invite the Goddess to take her seat there and remain there for the duration of our worship, is described. This video class shows the Prana Pratishtha (establishment of life) in the worshiper, the kara and anga nyasas for establishing the mantra in the body, and sthapana (establishment upon the yantra). Durga Puja and Kali Puja
This video class begins with the Durga Puja (worship of the Reliever of Difficulties) followed by Kali Puja (worships of the Remover of Darkness). This video class finishes the Kali Puja from the previous section. It includes the Adya Stotram (The Song of the Foremost) which sings of Kali as the supreme divinity. It then gives the worship for Lakshmi, the Goddess of True Wealth, and Sarasvati, the Goddess of All Pervading Knowledge. This video class demonstrates a Shiva Puja. The worship of Shiva is the worship of the Consciousness of Infinite Goodness. The system of worship includes his gayatri mantra, dhyanam, nyasa of the mantra Om Namah Shivaya and many mantras praising His divine name and glory.

Closing Puja, Blessings and Withdrawl of Energy
This video contains the remaining puja in the Cosmic Puja to the end of the system of worship. Included are Ganesha Puja (Worship of the Lord of Wisdom), Kamakhya Puja (worship of She Who Has Eyes to Perceive Beyond Desire), Surya Arghya (offering to the Sun), Tarpana (offering to Guru and Ancestors), as well as puja for the Guru, Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Shree Maa, Mahishasura (the Great Ego who attained oneness with the Goddess) and Simha the lion who is the vehicle of Divine Mother.
