Om, that infinitely undefinable
Great formless god that lives
At the heart of all and any,
Defying all description, Om, we bow.
Through That One point She came into form
Shining all Light, Sound and Love forth
Through That point, Gods and Goddesses formed
Through That point, creation spilled out onto this plane
All Gods and Goddesses shine that great Light
Pouring forth Love, Compassion and Wisdom.
Though to many of us this Light is elusive
How then can we hope to find that great Union?
Through Her …
The Guru is our Light in the darkness and fog
Dispelling all confusion through loving example
We flock to Her feet searching for Wisdom
And She gives, She gives and gives to no end
It is She who has found that great Union with All
True perception of all formed and infinite
The Light of all Gods flows through entirely
And Her thirsty disciples sip that nectar from Her feet
Who is the Guru, one may ask?
She is That, Om, the infinite beyond conception
She is all Gods all Goddesses and Sages
Through the Guru, we find the darshan of All
Refining our mirror we aim to reflect
The Light and Love which She unendingly shines
To live as She lives, we grow ever more
Through the Guru we find that ultimate Union
How could we hope to succeed without Her Light?
The Guru is our lifeline, our connection to God
Without Her infinite Love, surely we would be lost
Defying all description, Om, we bow.
