Great news! For every month in 2019, our beloved Shree Maa will give us guidance on a deity to worship and a suggested mantra for our daily japa.
Shree Maa says that in the month of January, the Divine Mother should be worshiped. Sankalpas given by Shree Maa and Swamiji are aimed at continuing efforts to pray for world peace. They lovingly choose these powerful mantras in order to create a specific benefit in each of our lives.
The collective effort in chanting the sankalpa at the same time as hundreds of other devotees also creates special benefits for the whole universe.
Here is the mantra that we have been blessed to chant as often as possible in January, but for at least for 108 times per day (1 mala each day):
“Om Hrim Chandikayai Namah”
