Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu, Gurur Devo Maheswara.
“The Guru is Brahma, the Guru is Vishnu, the Guru is Lord Shiva, Maheswara” has many interpretations and many levels of meaning. It means that my Guru is Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. Your Guru is Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. All Gurus are Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva as well. It also means that Brahma is my Guru, and Vishnu and Shiva are my Gurus as well. The Gods are my Guru, as well as the Supreme Divinity. Creative Consciousness is my Guru, as is the Consciousness which Protects, and that which Transforms.
My Guru is Brahma, all Gurus are Brahma, Brahma is my Guru.
My Guru is Vishnu, all Gurus are Vishnu, Vishnu is my Guru.
My Guru is Shiva, all Gurus are Shiva, Shiva is my Guru.
Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are my Guru in the cosmic body, in the subtle body, and in the individual bodies as well. The Guru is inside me. The Guru is outside me, and wherever we look, there is the presence of the Guru.
And therefore, we bow down to the Respected Guru.
Celebrate our relationship with the Guru!
Jai Guru!
