From Birth to Death: Sixteen Initiations Class

This class explains the samskara rituals and mantras used for sacred Rites of Passage of the Sanatana Dharma. These teachings transmit the essence of Hindu Dharma and offer knowledge that will allow us to live as Divine beings in harmony with the Eternal Ideal of Perfection.

Gayatri Sahasranam Class

Gayatri is the Essence of Wisdom, and Her one thousand Sanskrit names enumerate the ideals of spiritual perfection in alphabetic order and rhythmic perfection. In this class we learn the pronunciation and meter, feel the bhava, and listen to Swamiji discuss the inner meanings of the scripture.

Guru Gita Class, November 2006

The Guru Gita is an ancient Sanskrit text from the Skanda Purana. In Guru Gita, Lord Shiva explains the deepest spiritual significance of the nature of the Guru, the Divine Guide. The Guru Gita states “the Guru is not simply a human being, but the Supreme Divinity made manifest”.

Kashyapa Sutra Class

This class covers the fifteen verses given by the great sage Kashyapa that explore the concept of enlightenment and the method of its attainment. Ramakrishna: The Nectar of Eternal Bliss Class

Ramakrishna’s message is universal and the impact of his life is still being felt today. In this class Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda Saraswati’s present an English translation of Mahendranath Gupta’s Kathamritan. Their discourses bring to life the bhava or devotional attitude of Sri Ramakrishna and his teachings.

Rudrashtadhyayi Class

Rudrashtadhyayi is an ancient and celebrated hymn to Lord Shiva that is chanted continually at the jyotir lingams. The Vedic poems of the Rudrashtadhyayi convey the spiritual emotion, or bhava, of the passionate love and worship of Lord Shiva. This class demonstrates the technical aspects of chanting while drawing us into intuitive experience of these ancient mantras.

Satyanarayan Vrat Katha Class

The Satya Narayana Vrat Katha is the story of the holy Vow to speak and act in truth. Living with Truth bestows every blessing and makes us divine. Sri Ramakrishna has said, “Truth is the most important of all spiritual practices for this modern age”.

Shiva Puja and Advanced Yajna Class, 2006

Shiva is Pure Consciousness. By performing Shiva’s worship we cultivate the qualities of a yogi. This video teaches a Beginners Puja, Intermediate Puja, and Advanced Puja of Lord Shiva and gives the complete system for a Vedic Yajna, or fire sacrifice.
