Longtime devotee & Mandir Sewaks 🧡Brahmaani Maa + 🧡Divyaa Maa lead us through a month of recitations over the Lalita Trishati, a tantric stotram that covers not only the 15-syllable beej mantra of the Goddess Lalita, but the meaning behind her sacred mantra and the 300 names most widely Loved by Lalita Devi.
https://www.shreemaa.org/shree-maa-the-life-of-a-saint-2/ – Longtime devotee 🧡Ramya Maa is helping us through another one of Devi Mandir’s collected biographies, this time for Shree Maa! In Shree Maa, Life of a Saint, we get to find layers and layers of wisdom through the long life of our wonderful Divine mother, Shree Maa. Born in Assam as a self-realized being, this book is a must-read for any Devi Mandir devotees and comes highly recommended as a biography of one of the great North-Indian female saints. Jai Maa!! 🌺
Longtime devotee 🧡Ramya Maa is going over the wonderful biography of Swamiji, better known as Swami Satyananda Saraswati. We have read this book one or twice before, but it has been quite some time! If you would like to read along with us, you can find a copy of Devi Mandir’s book here: https://www.shreemaa.org/sahib-sadhu/
https://www.shreemaa.org/shree-maa-the-guru-and-the-goddess-book/ – Swami Adaityananda has been doing Devi Mandir’s morning classes for over a year now, and they are always highly recommended by both devotees and staff of the temple! Swami Adaitya Baba has studied sanskrit under Swamiji and gives a quick directed reading, but will also take multiple times to go through the grammar of the sentences as well as tying it the vedic & bhakti stories that inspired the writing. This will be changing to the Sundar Khand on December 7th/8th 2022.
https://www.shreemaa.org/ramakrishna-the-nectar-of-eternal-bliss-book/ – Swamiji Saraswati Satyananda & Shree Maa of Assam have worked very hard on the translation of the original biography of Ramakrishna Paramahansa by ‘M‘. In this class, we have gone through the entirety of their translated book with stories & personal reflections by the classes leader (and longtime Devi Mandir devotee) , Vish Babaji.
https://www.shreemaa.org/cosmic-puja-book/ – The Samashti Upasana or Cosmic Puja, is the meditation and worship of all the forms of divinity in existence; all the deities of the universe. The action of the greatest merit is to guide one’s awareness into the presence of God and to maintain that presence for as long as possible. Through puja we offer all that we possibly can to God and thereby experience peace. This worship is intended to lead us to that objective.

Best Practices for Satsangha Participants:
We’re very excited and honoured to see our classes steadily increasing in attendance over the last year: a giant Thanks to everyone who has participated! With more friends and family joining us, we ask all attendees to follow a few guidelines to allow for maximum enjoyment & audio clarity:
- Please make sure the name you are using has some proximity to who you are. We tend to start getting a lot of “iPads” and “iPhones” that can not only become confusing for other participants, but can prevent other people from getting into the meeting if they have the same name. If the attendee’s name(s) remain in ‘ipad/iphone’ format, you may get removed from the meeting.
- While there is time before & after classes for attendees to talk and catch up, please make sure that when Swamiji & Shree Maa are talking, you keep yourself on mute; No one can hear anyone else if the meeting turns into a giant audio feedback loop! Moderators will also be muting accounts during the class to reduce interfering noises.
- If you have questions about something in the meeting, please share it in the Devi Mandir public telegram group. It is not that they are being ignored, it is that Swamiji & Shree Maa are not able to see most of the questions send to them as DMs due to screen size. Plus, you’ll find sharing your questions on the Telegram group means others may have had the same question, and you supported another devotee without even knowing it!
